Numbers and Counting

This is a great way for your kids to practice counting and get sensory input at the same time.

We have used these in class to practice numeral formation. Its really fun because they can use cars, planes or trains to help get the formation correct. Then you can put it in a sheet protecter and practice again and again with a dry erase marker. Numeral formation with transportation

If your child has a hard time touch counting without going too fast, try using an empty egg carton or ice cube tray to give each object a defined space. You can also practice numerals with this cute idea featured in the picture above. Try counting out the correct number of goldfish and put them in the corresponding number. Write numbers directly on the carton or use tape with numbers on an ice cube tray.
