Welcome to our class blog! I will be updating this blog every Monday with new ideas of things you can try at home to help reinforce what we are learning at school. I'll post things we are working on at school as well as other ideas I've found or tried in my classroom in the past with lots of success. Hope it helps! Let me know if you are looking for specific skills and I can add more info in that area.

Here are 4 great ways to build fine motor skills with a fun thanksgiving theme!
This video from our Handwriting without Tears curriculum shows how to teach your child to hold a writing utensil correctly. Practice this cute little song each time your child wants to color or write and they will have this concept in no time.
If you are brave enough to try practicing scissor skills at home, this is a great activity. You can try it with lines or shapes. Its also really great fine motor practice to get the stickers from their package and onto the paper in the right place.
